RESPA and the District met April 9, 2021 and is pleased to announce we have reached an agreement on an addendum to the revised addendum MOU dated January 6, 2021.
Your bargaining team has met extensively and worked with the district in advocating on your behalf through this addendum. We heard what RESPA members were saying - as Education Support Professionals we want to feel valued and respected for our hard work. We made this clear to the district in our bargaining sessions, the district wanted it to show and recognize classified employees. We believe it does in this addendum.
After this lengthy and collaborative bargaining process with the district we are pleased to share some highlights of the addendum:
Once signed, a copy will be sent out and posted, but here are a few highlights.
o Whether Part time or full time, a one-time stipend of $1,500 or 5%, whichever is greater, off schedule, pro-rated for partial year of service.
o An additional 80 hours from SB95 covid leave
o Additional safety conditions based on students returning
o A $300 stipend for preforming disinfecting duties
o A stipend for Grab-and-Go meal distribution events that started prior to 5:30am
Monday RESPA and the district will resume negotiating the State Pre-School MOU and will send out updates as they occur.
